About our League:
Veterans meet once a week at area courses for 16 weeks throughout the golf season to bond and share good times with other Veterans. The league is limited to 16 veterans at each course.
Participation in the league includes a clinic taught by PGA Hope Professionals to help league members improve their game.
Forces on the Fairways covers all greens fees and cart rental for the veterans to play.
New Veterans joining the league will get a cap with the Forces on the Fairways logo.
There will also be winners at each course each week for low net and low gross scores.
on the Fairways Cup.
An end of season banquet will be held to present season winners for low gross and low net at each course and to present the Forces on the Fairways Cup to the winning team.
Our intent is to offer new players PGA Golf Clinics prior the start of league play.
League Captains: Each of our locations requires a course captain who will help manage the league at their course throughout the season. Scoring is done easily by the players themselves through the Forces on the Fairways League Software (www.forcesonthefairways.golfleague.net) so league captains don't have to worry about scoring, but you do need to be the link in communication with your league members and the course. If you would like to volunteer to be the league captain at your course, please email: info@thepalozolafoundation.org
