About our League:
  • Veterans meet once a week at area courses for 16 weeks throughout the golf season to bond and share good times with others who served. The league is limited to 20 veterans at each course.
  • Participation in the league includes a 6 week clinic taught by PGA Hope Professionals to help league members improve their game.
  • Forces on the Fairways covers all greens fees and cart rental for the veterans to play.
  • Each veteran will get a league shirt and cap with the Forces on the Fairways logo.
  • The league from our various partner courses will come together on September 11th for team competition for The Forces on the Fairways Cup tournament.
  • The league starts the first week in May and runs to the end of August. There are 2 evening locations, Fore Honor and St. Peters on Wednesday evenings at 5:15 p.m. and 2 afternoon locations,  Spencer T. Olin on Wednesdays at 1:15,  and  Aberdeen on Tuesdays at 1:30.  There will be a winner at each course each week for low net and low gross scores.
  • In September, an end of season banquet will be held to present season winners for low gross and low net at each course and to present the Forces on the Fairways Cup to the winning team.
League Captains:

Each of our locations requires a course captain who will help manage the league at their course throughout the season.  Scoring is done easily by the players themselves through the Forces on the Fairways League Software (www.forcesonthefairways.golfleague.net) so league captains don't have to worry about scoring, but you do need to be the link in communication with your league members and the course.   If you would like to volunteer to be the league captain at your course please email info@thepalozolafoundation.org
