Our Vision:
A country where veterans feel respected, supported, appreciated and have ample opportunities and assistance with their path toward healing and adjusting to life after service.
Our Founders:
Maria Palozola is a nationally known Golf Professional, Owner of St. Louis Golf Lessons and the Lead Instructor for the Golf Channel Academy with Maria Palozola in St. Louis, MO. Since 1994 Maria has dedicated many hours to grow the game initiatives working with handicapped golfers, juniors, women golfers, beginners and the like to make golf more accessible. Together with her sister Sally Palozola Cherre, they decided to take action on the long time dream of developing a foundation that could use golf to help others last May to honor her Father Leonard J. Palozola who fought in WW2 (Battle of the Bulge) and Grandfather Leo J. Palozola who fought in WW1, both who of whom loved to golf and their nephews who fought in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
We Believe: That Golf can act as a healing agent and outlet for physical activity for both veterans suffering from PTSD and physical handicaps and their families. We also seek to make golf more accessible to those veterans with physical handicaps such as missing limbs.
